The Greater Naples AAUW Charitable Foundation, Inc. (the “Foundation”) is a 501(c)(3) public charity founded in 2001 by members of the AAUW Greater Naples Branch.
The Foundation promotes equity, education, and development of opportunities for local women and girls that enable them to realize their full potential. Annually, the Foundation:
- Awards scholarships to deserving local women,
- Supports the AAUW Greater Naples Branch STEAM Girls Count program for 5th-grade Girls,
- Supports the AAUW Greater Naples Branch Janet Martin Welch Reading is Fun! program, and
- Supports local AAUW StartSmart workshops offered by the Branch.
These programs, described on the “Programs” page, are made possible by the generous
donations of the 2024 Scholarship Awards Celebration Luncheon, The Naples Trust Company, the proceeds of the fundraising events, donations by members of AAUW Greater Naples Branch and others, pro bono CPA services by Trish Crombie & Associates, Inc., and the generous donations for the 2025 STEAM Girls Count Program by the following: Thank You for investing in the futures of local women and girls!!
Through its Southwest Florida Women Giving Together Giving Circle, open to all interested women, it also supported medical and dental care for Women and Children at The Shelter for Abused Women and Children.
